The Curse of Growling Bear’s Land

Two young couples just got an amazing deal on 20 acres of rural land...

Problem is, real estate agents aren't required to disclose hauntings or curses.

In 1835, an Indian named Growling Bear, who had been banished from his dwindling tribe of Tupelo Indians, took his wife and small child and settled in a cave, on a beautiful 20 acre tract of land in northwestern North Carolina near the Virginia border.

While he was out hunting, US Soldiers came and took his wife and small child to be relocated out west. He was unable to rescue them, and unfortunately, he found out later that they died on the Trail of Tears.

He was so angry that he put a curse on the land, that anyone who obtains the land in the future to exploit the resources will die a terrible death. He inscribed this curse in broken English on a large rock, then died of a broken heart.

It's now 2017, and two young couples just bought the land for the amazingly low price of $20,000. They can't believe their luck. When they go check it out, they find that not only is there beautiful timber on the land, but there are also gemstones, gold, and ginseng everywhere, as well as blackberries, blueberries, and abundant wildlife.

Just when they're thinking of how rich they can get, an old man walks over and tells them that there is a curse on the land, and that everyone who has tried to exploit its resources has died a very grisly death. He warns them not to take anything from the land.

Is the old man really telling the truth, or is the Curse of Growling Bear's Land just an old wives' tale?

Will the two young couples survive?
